Articles in this section explore our understanding of the nature of God, our understanding of human nature, and our understanding of the tragic fact, definitively set forth in the historical records of the world’s peoples, that armed conflict is one of the most common, continuous, and significant experiences imposed upon human beings.

  • God and Human Nature

    These articles focus on our understanding of the nature of God and of human nature, and on the relationship that exists between God and human beings in the context of contemporary and historical accounts of frequent armed conflicts among the world’s peoples.

  • History of War

    These articles explore the history of the interrelated spiritual, psychological, and physical causes of warfare among tribes, peoples, nations, and other armed groups; the resolution of such conflicts, and their immediate and long-term consequences.
