by Don Martin Jr., Editor
We seek articles, monographs, reports, essays, commentaries and reviews for publication in the Spring 2010 edition of JFW. Although we prefer original manuscripts, we will reprint previously-published manuscripts that are relevant to the focus and scope of this journal. Send letters of inquiry or completed manuscripts to the following email address:

These guidelines offer a comprehensive understanding of the kinds of articles we are seeking. Potential authors should contact the editor with any questions about writing for JFW.
Instead of waiting for a complete edition of each issue of JFW before publishing it, we will publish articles as they are approved and ready. As each edition is completed, it will be placed in the JFW archives. We envision a period of three to four months for completion of each edition before it is placed in the archives.

Please explore and interact with the content published on this site. Our leadership team and other authors will provide credible essays, treatises, reviews and commentaries that relate directly to the integration of faith with national security decisions and actions, and with the leadership of military forces and security agencies. We offer an interactive platform for our readers to engage us and other readers.
Register on the site first, then send in your responses and suggestions. I will screen comments before posting them publicly, but we want to foster a meaningful discussion, so we need your questions and critiques (as well as any commendations you choose to offer). So, please, "fire away!" We welcome your comments.
The privacy policy for this site is posted in the Main Menu under "Questions and Issues." We do not collect personal information—such as email addresses—for commercial purposes, nor will we share such information with others without your permission.
We want to reach a wide audience in the English-speaking nations with this journal, in order to achieve our stated aim: To influence for good the faith basis of morally responsible leadership in regard to preparing for war, going to war, fighting wars, concluding wars, evaluating wars, and maintaining discipline and accountability among parties involved in planning, projecting or applying military force.
Please pass the word about JFW to your professional and personal contacts.
If you are interested in writing for JFW, read the items on the Home page under the list of contents, and also those posted in the Main Menu within "JFW Logistics."
Our goal is to engage your mind and spirit in an ongoing dialogue about integrating faith into the decisions and leadership of national policy and of our nations' military and security forces.
Finally, remember the biblical command: "I urge...that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4, NIV).
We live in an atmosphere of fiercely partisan political debates within and between our nations, but we are commanded to pray for our leaders even when we disagree with their policies. It's not "natural," but it's our duty. Let's do it!
